Chopard was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysses Chopard, a Swiss watchmaker. Today the name of Chopard has become synonymous with the production of high-quality Swiss watches and fine jewellery. The now iconic design of the “happy diamonds” or dancing diamonds was introduced in 1976 to give Chopard its signature look.
