- A heavy quality double sided pair of 1920s vintage cufflinks in a chequerboard design. Beautifully made in an 18 carat yellow and white gold which has a particularly soft finish with an excellent patina. In the centre of each face is an old brilliant cut diamond in a cut down setting. With this cut of the stone and overall design of the links, it is possible to date the cufflinks to the early 20th century. The links are square in shape, of good weight and are in excellent condition but unmarked. This was not unusual as English jewellery destined for the home market during the earlier part of the 20th century was often unmarked. Fitted with their original chain link connections.
- Measures 13mm across.
- English circa 1920.
