Five weeks after lockdown…

found in: Buyer Information

On Tuesday March 17th I “shut up shop” in Grays Antique Centre (London) not knowing when I would return. Luckily, I have my website to enable me to carry on trading and with my Instagram and Facebook to promote my stock, I have been kept very busy. And to quote Charles Darwin;

It is not the strongest of the species who survive, nor the most intelligent, it is those most adaptable to change.

And boy….I am definitely having to adapt!

For my latest venture I morphed into a personal Courier Service, hand delivering a beautiful vintage Tiffany brooch purchased for a birthday present and with drop off at the garden gate, I carefully maintained the all-important social distancing. Unfortunately, I cannot offer this service to all my clients but luckily for me this lovely lady was on my doorstep. For those of you further afield, there are many courier services I can call upon to guarantee safe delivery.

I can attribute this sale to the purchaser finding my website through Google search and in turn, I would like to thank Peacock Computers in Lymington who maintain the technical side of my site and the seemingly ever-important search engine optimisation.

And so, as far as I can see, this is how I will be selling for the foreseeable future so don’t forget those birthdays and anniversaries. Feel free to visit my website, follow my Instagram account at nigelnormanfinejewels or my Facebook page Nigel Norman Jewels and of course you can phone me 07801 789316 or email me

Unfortunately with Grays closed during the lockdown, I am not able to provide that personalised face to face service upon which my business has been built but life must go on and so it is….

Business as usual!

But then you could always FaceTime me 😊
